A very pleasant departure from this Cabernet house’s bold and beautifully polished reds, the wine is crisp, rich and round. 100% Semillon grown in the heart of Napa’s Rutherford AVA. The wine is magically balanced with 9 months of lightly toasted French oak and sur-lie aging. The natural waxy qualities of the grape are quickly wiped over by the brisk acidity. Honeycomb, orange citrus, spicy pear, honey and a slightly nutty character from the lees aging.
