Very pretty cooked apple and pear aromas with hints of meringue follow through to a full body, hints of vanilla cream and pie. Finishes lightly oily and delicious. Bigger style. Drink or hold.
The 2014 Chardonnay Napa offers notes of almond paste, nectarines, and citrus oil. Medium-bodied, it has a hint of vanilla from barrel, but just not the depth of flavor and depth of its more expensive sibling.
